We all saw the letter she wrote to you and she was WELL within her rights to say the things she said. She was not rude or crazy. I friggin wouldnt want you around my child either.

You should probably not give advice....she is a stranger to this child! The FATHER AND MOTHER are supposed to raise it

i didn't say anything about raising the child. even a babysitter can put a kid in time out. any child that is in my house will have to abide by my rules... neighbor child, friend, cousin, nephew, whatever. that does not mean i'm trying to raise the child.

You have NO RIGHT to discipline your husbands child. Period. You have been told about 46545465154684 times that you are nothing to that child and you still act like you have no idea. You are about as smart as a rock.

legally, you have no say in the child's life. period. nothing changes that. no matter how much child support you pay on your husband's behalf. ever. day to day discipline should always be a mutual decision by both legal parents.

upholding good behavior and disciplining bad behavior, you have no more authority then a school teacher. but hey, in all seriousness, you keep this interferring and you won't be around long enough to partake in any discipline when the child does reach an age to be disciplined.

Its not like you stay out of things either. Jbowman is correct. The child is an INFANT and you are curious as to whether or not you can discipline said infant? Oh my goodness. LEGALLY NO. Legally, if you lay one hand on this child, mom can report dad to CSB and file a complaint against you. Legally, you are NOBODY in this situation. LEGALLY, you are zip, zilch, zero. Why can't you understand that?

Not a good idea, this ones bound to go off the deep end and abuse the poor thing! She'd probably think mom programed the baby to purposefully torment her and try to take her hubby away from her.
