These portraits are a big deal in "his" culture and therefore my daugher's. It is traditional for girls to get their pictures taken at 13 in traditional dress, hairdo, and makeup. It is expensive to rent the clothing and get the hair done, as well as the sitting fee, but my daughter and I really enjoyed the experience. I asked ex if he wanted a copy, but when I told him what it would cost (dividing the entire expense by number of pictures), he decided he didn't want to pay but should be given a copy. As for the fact that they are pictures of "his" child, there is certainly nothing to stop him from getting this done on his dime, no? Perhaps I am being petty, but this guy currently owes me more than a thousand dollars in unpaid medical expenses, so no, I don't feel like subsisizing his paterntal sentiment.
