If an individual resigns from a job but has earned vacation time and per company policy will be paid for all unused vacation time at the end of employment but did not receive pay because the individual left before the time posted on the ledger. Ex: employed on Jan. 1, as of July 1st-6mths later, employee earns a wk of vacation, employee has earned the time but it will not show up until the end of the month. Employee resigns on July 5th and works out the month and receives last check as of the end of the month, but no vacation time is paid. Legally what recourse can the individual make?
