Medical Expenses

I live in NC. Dad and I have a temporary order at this time which only covers a limited number of issues. Are medical expenses and other necessary expenses usually split 50/50? Dad makes approximately 75% of our combined income. Will he most likely be required to pay that percentage of medical etc?

Hmmm. It's split according to income percentages in my state -- which is NOT NC!

The amount that is, or will be, paid by a parent for health (medical, or medical and dental) insurance for the children for whom support is being determined is added to the basic child support obligation and prorated between the parents based on their respective incomes.

Thanks...I will go check out those sites. I knew the insurance was added to the CS worksheet. I just wasn't sure how out of pocket expenses were calculated. Seems NC laws are extremely vague on most issues. Thanks again for the links!!
