I have two kids that live with me 95% of the time . what would i get for child support and to see if I can get alimony for life as I have Lupus and find it hard to work 40 hours a week. I get sick very easy now also . I have always been a stay at home mom took care of 4 kids . He gave us a good life . That i could never give to my kids. He also cheated on me with a friend of mine and may of giving me hpv as she has it . He makes over 95,000 a year. I work part time . In order for me to do better i need to go back to school and that may be hard with my sickeness. Plus can i keep my house and have him pay for it and my health insurence . I know it is alot to ask for but I may not be able to buy a house because i may not beable to work a full time job.

If you wonder, google a child support calculator for your state and input all the numbers and find out an estimate.

That's a question only a local attorney familiar with the local judges and courts can answer with any authority. The only valid answer you can get over the internet is "maybe." Definitely ASK for it in your filings -- you get nothing if you don't ask for it.

As far as your health insurance coverage goes, that is mostly dependent upon your insurance company. They may allow a divorced man to keep his X-wife on his coverage, but most do not.

What kind of income does he have? Is it sufficient to provide all you are asking for and housing and life for himself as well? When one divorces, their income does not double so as to provide totally for two households.

Try running the CS calculations based on his income, then add the cost of the housi8ng you are asking him to provide. Then the health care (which will cost significantly more for a non-spouse), and children's health care. Running the numbers may give you a sense of whether your request is even do-able. Remember, you need to allow for HIS housing and transportations costs as well- as there will now be TWO households.

Sweetheart if you get sick so easy now, why do you even want the responsibility of a house and all of the care and maintenance that it requires? Perhaps a condo/townhouse might be a better alternative.
