Yesterday my coworker was pulled over by a motorcycle cop on the freeway.
My coworker, who is an idiot, noticed that when they got to the shoulder the cop was pretty close behind him. So when he hit about 15mph he slammed on the brakes just to be a jerk. The office was not expecting this and almost rear ended him. He got a ticket
I'm hoping I don't get yelled at for posting a hypothetical, but Idiot says the officer was following too close so it would have been the officer's fault. I know that in 99% of cases the person who does the rear ending is at fault, but would that be the case here? Since he needlessly slammed on the brakes with the intent to cause an accident would it have been his fault?
