I recently got a speeding ticket & I noticed that the officer put down the wrong vehicle color & ethnicity... Is this ticket still valid?

I recently got a speeding ticket & I noticed that the officer put down the wrong vehicle color & ethnicity... Is this ticket still valid?

More than likely, yes.

If the color of your car was red and he put down blue, you might be able to challenge the officer's power of observation in the hopes of raising reasonable doubt - the same goes with race (if you're obviously black and he wrote "white" for instance). Writing "Green" for an aqua vehicle, or thinking you look Hispanic when you're white or even Arab are not going to be a big problem for the officer.

If the identifying info is good, then the cite will likely pass muster just fine.
