custody battle ending tragically

What bothered me, (other than the tragic deaths of children), is the fact that he did this 2 hours before having to return his children to the mother. He then awoke 19 hours later.

Where the hell was Mom? 21 hours late of getting her kids? Certainly nothing could have been done about the deaths of her children at that point, but I would be calling the police NON STOP if my kids were not returned to me!

I'm in Montgomery County and this has been all over the news.

According to the Washington Post and many other sources, the mother contacted police about 10 minutes after the kids weren't returned and several times over the ensuing day. Baltimore is over an hour away from Silver Spring and there would have been no reason to suspect that the father and children were there.

My case is in Montgomery County also. In looking at the case file, Dad just filed something the day before yesterday.

I don't know a thing about the mental health aspects...

Saddest of all for the kids.

I just read it again, and you are correct, he was in a hotel. I will never in my life time understand killing your own children. I would kill myself if I ever had that urge**************...but then again, I am not a psychologist, and am just talking out of a mommy's mouth.
