"Need Help"!! I was "Falsely Accused" of 2nd. degree Burglary along with numerous other charges that the D.A. piled up so it would be difficult for I to receive a "Fair Bail" . I was assigned a different Public Defender at each stage of the false accusations against me, which they did not properly represent me at any of the stages of the case. At my "Preliminary Hearing" the D.A. did NOT produce any evidence and the "Public Pretender" failed to "Motion for an immediate dismissial". The Presiding Judge, said this matter would be continued to later time and released me on an O.R. . ??Should'nt the charges have been dropped at the "Preliminary Hearing" due to the D.A. could not produce any evidence to hold me for Trial?? How it came to me taking a "Plea Agreement" is a little complicated. At my next scheduled Court date , I was stuck in traffic due to "road construction", however I phoned the "Public Defender's office to let them know I was going to be about 15-min. late. Upon arriving at the Court room , the Judge remanded me into Custody without explaination of my tardeeness(which I had called the P.D. to let know). After I was remanded to custody and lost my New Job , I only saw the P.D. at court appearances and each time they kept coehercing me to take a "Plea" . You could say; they finally broke me and the thought of being released at the time was a good idea. I needed to be home to care for my disabled wife and did not think of the consquences. I did go back to court and request a motion for a change of Plea, However I was denied. ??My Question is? : How can I withdraw my plea ? And receive Proper Council ? P.S.= "I NEED HELP"
"Please Help" I am in Desperate Need of a good Criminal Lawyer who will take my Case "Pro Bono". I am a Full time student at a Community College here .
