What is the name of your state? Washington
I have an agreed and executed Parenting Plan, it has been in place since 2005. My ex has asked me to agree to a visitation schedule and has requested changes in specific days of visitation like one on one days, with my three children. All of this is due to the fact that his girlfriend has moved to San Francisco and he is dividing his time between Seattle and San Francisco. This schedule that he's presented goes from now until February 2009, he says if I don't agree to his changes he will take me to mediation. Mediation is costly and I am required to pay 50%, which I cannot afford. Questions: Can he take me to mediation just because I won't agree to his schedule changes 8 months in advance? In the past one on one days are agreed a month in advance. This seems a bit convoluted. Can I refuse mediation on the grounds that I cannot afford it? Yes, he has council, I cannot afford any. This said he hasn't paid child support for over a year (or any other of the childrens expenses), because he says he cannot afford it. I know one has nothing to do with the other, but I am supporting his children and he can take me to mediation? What is the name of your state?
