What is the name of your state? Florida

I am in Florida
The seller is in Idaho

Very condensed version of events.
I purchased 'goods' offered for sale by someone. I paid via paypal
he never shipped the 'goods'. I contacted paypal and they were unable
to recover funds from the sellers acct.
Is there any other way I can recover my funds.
The amount was $100.00 if that makes a difference.

Do I just contact small claims court in his state?
Wouldn't I have to be there for the procedings?
It would likely take you 2 trips to the state, once to file the lawsuit then for the actual court proceedings. Things like travel, food and lodging would have to come out of your own pocket. It would likely cost you a whole lot more than $100 just to sue for the money then there is no guarantee you will get the money anyway.

Well thats interesting. Can you offer any suggestions as to what I can do?

way recover the funds/goods from him. I'm in the wrong line of work:mad:

Sue the seller in his home state.

Such is the perils of buying from out of state from an individual. That is one of the reasons to use a credit card with Paypal, it is much easier to do a chargeback on a CC than to try to get a refund through Paypal.
