What is the name of your state? TX

My husband (CP) and the mother (NCP) have been divorced for 8 years. She was ordered to pay 100% medical insurance but no child support. She did not pay for 6 years. My husband took her back to court and got child support to 300 and he paid for medical. She still did not pay a dime. This time it was through the attorney general. She was a little over 8000 in arrears and my husband made a deal with her that she could pay 120 a month (and earased back arrears) ..she agreed and started paying. The day my husband went to get it official through the court and signed she went out and got a job. She has not worked since she was 16 and is now 26. Child support ging off min wage (she makes more) is 245 accorsing to the attorney general. This order just got signed in March 08. Is there anything we can do? With the prices going up we could use a little extra for his daughter?

Your husband made a deal with his ex, and a deal is a deal.

"We" don't need anything for his daughter. If he can't afford his child, then he needs to find other options. Cut back. You have nothing to do with his child support.

well the fact that right now I am paying for her...i do. Legally I know I dont. We have cut back. That wasnt the question. The question was if it possible to get a review

well of corse its my choice. If I didnt the child would not have the things she does. The mother does not take any active roll in her child, does not pay for anything until this past OCt , and basically never cared. So I guess you can say I feel obligated to take a step up. I know I dont legally have a right. But when you care about a child then you do. My question was to see if we could get anymore help because we could use it. So thanks for answering.
