Not quite. Rather, because of the wording of the CO, Mom can (if she chooses) assert a legal basis for balking if Dad requests to fly kiddo to FL. This leaves Dad with several options, including handling the issue in such a way that Mom can have no legal objection, requesting Mom's approval to deviate from the order, or taking Mom to mediation / court with the intent to modify the order.
And... there is no guarantee that the court would give permission for the child to fly into Orlando alone, and he could be charged with all Mom's legal fees. She has some legitimate concerns...

It would be much much cheaper for Dad to just go through Nashville and get her, IMO.

Not sure what this means, can you explain? :D
For example, in the manner JBMD suggests. If the child flies from TN to LA as ordered at the beginning of his parenting time, then flies from wherever Dad happens to be to Nashville at the conclusion of his parenting time , problem averted. EVEN IF the order states that return flights shall be from LA to TN, Mom would look like a controlling beyotch objecting on those grounds. ;)

Or just have her fly into LA and we all fly to Orlando together. :) It'd be too much of a hassle to go to court over something so small and I'm sure a judge wouldn't appreciate it. Just wanted to know what was legal or not. Thanks a lot for the advice, guys!
