What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Fla

Hi, hope you can help answer this simple question.

If a Pro Se respondent issues a Subpoena Duces Tecum for Deposition , primarily for production of documents in a family case, can the subpoena be worded to only require documents be submitted by mail without need to appear.?

Being Pro Se, there is no legal office to appear in and no person duly authorized to take the deposition.

Thank you for your time and help.

Check your local court rules.

However, I guess that you will need to have a place to bring the documents to.

They are generally not required to provide you with copies (you must take care of that).

Talk to the other lawyer and try to work something out.

Thank you for your reply.

Can the place to bring the documents to , be the residence of the Pro Se party?, or must it be a legal office. One last question, is a Pro Se party authorized to take a deposition?

thank you so much
