What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pa

Three trees fell from my neighbors house onto my house in a storm. Thankfully their was no real damage but I am being informed that the law states that this is an act of God and my insurance has to pay to have the trees removed. I have a $500 deductable so I guess I have to pay to have the neighbors trees removed. How is this an act of God and how am O responsible for the bill? I did not choose to have the trees in the neighbors yard. My neighbor should have to be responsible for the trees in the yard. Any advice?

They were very healthy. I just spoke with the owner and he has agreed to pay the deductable. But this rule does not seem right. I am lucky what about those who are not so lucky.

Since they were healthy, then it appears that the info you got was true.

You're lucky your neighbor is paying the deductible.

That rule seems right to me.

My neighbor's (healthy) tree fell on my house in June. My insurance covered the removal of the tree from my property, but left "his" part of the tree in his yard! The house my neighbor lives in is rented. Believe me, my insurance company would have loved to pin it on the owner of the tree! But it's all on me, no help from the neighbor, nothing. But I'd rather have a good neighbor than try to bully him into paying a deductible that he's not responsible for anyway..

On the other hand, a year ago, I was in a hit and run. I had to pay a deductible. It's not fair, but they make the rules and we just have to go along with it.

Sorry you had troubles.
