In our lease, it states that only two cars can be parked in our driveway. My landlord told me, in front of witnesses, that twice a month a third car could be parked there if I gave him prior notice. A few days later, he had a lawyer send me a letter saying that all oral agreements are no longer in effect. I was under the impression that verbal agreements such as these are binding. Is that the case?
