I need a little advice. I was having a concret floor poured in my barn the other day. I was doing the work myself. Due to the size of the job I had several Concrete Truck delivering the Ready-Mix. When the second truck entered my gravel driveway, the large culvert at the end collapsed about 2ft. Luckily the truck was able to back out before getting stuck. My question is will my homeowners insurance cover such a repair or am I just out and pay for it myself.

Were you negligent in causing the driveway to collapsed? Could you possibly have known it was a hazard? If you are liable, your insurance should pay, and if not they should defend you against the claim. Report it to them and see what they say.

He doesn't need a defense. He is asking if his home insurance will pay to repair his own driveway. The answer is no. Damage by a truck too heavy to be on the driveway is not a covered peril under your home insurance. The truck's insurance company may pay the claim since their vehicle damaged the driveway. The truck driver *should have* been aware that his truck was likely too heavy for your driveway.
