Oh geez. When my craziest Ex filed an RO against me, it was faxed to my local PD/Sheriff's office w/in an hour and served on me that evening when I got home from work.
I wish our Sheriff's office was that on the ball!

Don't they have a visitation set up for the weekend? If that still stands, Mom needs to call the sheriff and set up for a deputy to be present at the exchange - one, as a witness and two, to serve Dad. Easy peasy.
That would be ideal. We suspect he might have been feeling my sister out to see if she has taken any action. She kept her cool and pleaded with him to let her see her babies so as not to warn him. So I don't know if he will show up.

Please keep us posted on how your sister is doing and on whether or not she gets the children back. I try to use posts such as yours as learning exercises. Keep us updated on her court appearence in a couple of weeks as well.

I will most certainly. Were waiting for him to bring the kids to my moms right now. He called to set up a visit this morning. Or to feel her out again, time will tell.

. Learn from some of the things I did wrong too. I stirred up quite a bees nest on here yesterday.

I'm just confused now.

My sister has the kids back. He just dropped them off Saturday and hasn't called to check on them or anything. We know he hadn't been served yet. (The sheriff's office still hadn't received the faxed court orders.)
Maybe not having his live-in, 24/7, babysitter anymore came as a shock. Two toddlers can be quite a handful.

Anyway, the court hearing is on October 23. I'll post a follow-up, for you tornado88, as to what happens.

You seriously do not mean August do you?

No, I'm betting he means October 23. That's only 9 days away and would be about right.

Glad she got the children back. I have a feeling he was just blowing smoke to stir her up not expecting her to take any action. Is he the type that will get hostile when he is served? My ex was very overbearing, jealous, and controlling. He tried to play with me by doing things of this sort as well. When I got a OP on him he went beserk! It did make him realize though that he was only hurting himself. I hope you will keep an open eye on her and the children.

Yes, I meant October 23. I edited my post to reflect this.

He is the type to get hostile, but he also a coward. He vents his hostility on my sister in secret and acts like he wouldn't say **** if he had a mouthful around everyone else.

Oh, you can bet I am keeping an open eye out for my sister. This guy has my focused attention now.
