Her GPA is 3.9, and she already has nursing experience from a prior job.
Is she already an LPN or RN? If not, she doesn't have "nursing experience".

You say her GPA os 3.9. Are the courses she took science oriented (A&P, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, etc.) or are they Liberal Arts only? Although I finish my Nursing degree ions ago, I do remember that being enrolled at the university with a great GPA was not a guarantee of admission into the nursing program.

Also, along with the current nursing shortage is also a shortage in qualified nursing instructors. Many programs are cutting back on enrollment.

Even so, good luck to her.

An "ion" is quite different from an "eon". Which is the word you were looking to use.

I still find it amazing that supposedly competent adults are incapable of asking questions for themselves, but rely on Mommy, Daddy - or a spouse - to do so for them. Maybe OP's wife - if she's as concerned as he is - could come and ask her own questions.
