can I file bankruptcy w/o my husband?

Missouri. We have separated but can't afford the divorce. Relationship is amicable. We still file taxes jointly. All our bills are separate, and have no debt with both our names on it. His house is in his name only. He's doing fine but I'm struggling with medical debt and loss of a job. Can I file bankruptcy myself or do we have to get divorced first?
