What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

My ex has been hiding for several years and is about $11,000 behind in his child support. State recently found him. DL Suspended, IRS notified. He recently bought a new house in a county other than the county the support orders were filed. The state contacted me and told me to file a lien on the house through the county the support orders were filed in to be sure the lien was attached to the support orders. When I contacted the county the orders were filed in they told me that it is out of their county district so I can't file it. What do I do? How do I file a lien?

I have no idea why the CSE is telling you to file a lien. It is the CSE's responsibilty to file a lien. If your caseworker refuses, contact the supervisor. It might take a visit in person to get this done, but you need to be insistant. If you still don't get the help, find out what attorney's office, is representing the DOR in your case, and contact them.
You should be able to find that out by looking at your on-line docket on your county's court clerk's website, or by reading your court order.

The CSE that contacted me is in the county the original order for support was filed in. But I live in another county, and my ex is now living in another county. So three different counties are involved. Do I go to the DOR where my orders are filed or the one in the county where I live now?

Also, originally this was not handled by CSE. The clerk was originally put in charge of enforcing this case. Like I said he was hiding.

I called CSE back after I contacted the court house and they told me they didn't know what to do and would find out and call me back. It has been a month or more since that original conversation. In the meantime, I called CSE back and asked again what I was supposed to do and they said they didn't know yet and they would call me back.

You can go to your local CSE office. They are a state agency and any office can assist you. They might want to transfer the case to your county, or ex's county. If they bring that up, you should agree to it, agreeing will make all enforcement happen faster.
