What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alaska

Will it matter if my ex is unemployed when a divorce is filed, even if my ex signs everything will the court fail to allow the divorce if I still have an income and my ex does not due to the fact that she walked out on me and left the state to live with her brother and subsequently quit her job. I just want this whole thing over with and it is amacable but I dont want to file paper work that will bring all kinds of questions and cause all kinds of problems I just want to file it and move on with my life.

Thank you

If the two of you agree on everything there is little chance that a judge won't sign off on it.

Thank you for the reply, I will tell her to just fill it out and get it to me, it makes my girl friend uneasy that its been 2 months trying to get stuff out of each others name and get the divorce done and its taking my ex forever and a day to find a job down there so I dont want to wait just for her to not put 0's in her income section.
