What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NH
I live in NH and put a $1000.00 deposit on a property in FL. The property is bank owned and the P&S stated the bank had 60 days to close. When time
expired I withdrew my offer and the listing agent has refused to refund my
$1000.00 . Can I claim that loss on my personal taxes?

**A: why does the listing agent have your deposit rather than a third party escrow company? Instead of a loss file an action to get your deposit back.
