What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
My college, in a written letter, told me that "if I was taking presricption medication for metal illness that I should continue taking it. " I have never been medically diagnosed with any mental illness. To my knowledge there is no credible knowledge for them to believe having a mental illness. This "advice" was given to me in a letter containg the decision of a recent conduct hearing I underwent.
Would this situation be considered libel or (possibly) harrasment or criminal negligence?
Thanks.
