What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? South Carolina

Hello I attend Winthrop University and the school is currenty experincing cutbacks and teachers must give up four days of pay and I just wanted to know as a student what rights do I have during such conditions. I feel as though I am at an unfair disadvantage in regards to dealing with little amounts of grades (like 4-5 per class if that) because teachers are not getting enough to grade and unhappy teachers (ie: a teacher was very harsh when critizing me on an exam and another teacher came out gay). So again I would just like to know how am I protected.

Are you saying that instead of meeting 16 times during the term, all of your classes are only meeting 12 times?

How do you know the 'unhappy' teacher would not have been just as harsh under any other circumstance?

And... what does this
another teacher came out gay
have to do with anything???

Kindof my schedule is thus 3 classes on monday, 4 on wendsday, one on thursday and friday and the school is letting some teachers go and cutting back on their pay. I wouldnt know that because I have never had her before. I was using that teacher as an example of the condition im working in. (the teachers are being really unprofessional, another teacher's class I have no grades in right now and he doesnt care because he is fired and another is moving to VA but said he is going to finish the semester)

Don't go to graduate school. IN graduate school or other professional school you might only get ONE grade for the entire semester. you would never survive. There is nothing stating that you have to receive a specific number of graded assignments, correct? And there is also nothing stating that you have to have easy graders, correct? And there is also nothing stating that the teachers are not allow to be gay or be fired or move? Correct?
