Do the parents agree to continue support for college expense? If so, yes it can be ordered. However, a court is not going to FORCE one parent to pay for college expenses if the parents do not agree. Divorced or separated parents have no more legal obligation to provide for college expenses than married parents do.

Oh, and CS does not necessarily end at the magical age of 18, depending on circumstances.

What does CO staute have to do with TX code?

If you knew that CS did not automatically end at age 18 (as you stated) then why did you post that?

It is entirely possible for a child to be 19 or even 20 and still in high school, therefore still eligible to recieve CS under either CO statute or TX code. Ergo...CS wouldn't end at age 18.

If Mom and Dad have not previously agreed and had it stipulated in a court order that they would both contribute to college expenses OR if Mom refuses to agree to modification of the court order to allow for sharing of college expenses, it's not going to happen.
