What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
Good afternoon, on 3/6/09 I booked a trip to Mexico. I'm scheduled to leave 3/16 & return 3/20. I don't live in a bubble, but somehow I wasn't aware of the violence in Mexico, which is near the US border. Due to the contract, I'm not able to cancel or change my plans. The US Dept. of State has issued a travel alert, not a warning for people travelling to Mexico. They suggest tourists stay near their resort, not travel on side roads or @ night, among other things.
My girlfriend who was planning to travel to Mexico, was informed by her travel agency that they were changing her reservation due to the warning & she's now going to Jamaica. I feel like the agency I used should be understanding enough to want to do the same for me, without penalty.
Is there an agency who can speak to the agency on my behalf. Should I be concerned enough to get help with changing my reservation? I'm scheduled to leave on Monday.

Nope...enjoy your Mexican vacation. Remember don't drink the water and stay away from the lettuce.
