What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

I referred a candidate to a company ABC in NJ in 2007. I was promised a referral bonus for this candidate ( even though I was not on company ABC's payroll).
It has been 2 years and infinite attempts to remind the company's staffing manager, but to no avail. Am I legally entitled to this bonus at all? Is there any legal action I could take against this company? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Whether or not you are legally entitled to the bonus depends on the terms of the bonus agreement.

After two years, it seems pretty clear that they have no intention of paying you the referral bonus. Lousy but legal.
