People just don't get it...

"Just get another job" that seems to be many peoples response. Well you can apply but that doesn't mean you will get hired. I have applyed and I still can't get anything. My sister has put out over 300 job apps and can't get anything. Trying to find a second job that will match up with my first isn't easy. Also why is there such a HUGE issue with bankruptcy? HAD the federal gov't done the right thing and allowed the car industry and other businesses "to big to fail" go into bankruptcy, then our economy would be in a better place.

Thanks for that useful information. Since you're looking for a job, maybe you should call Mr. Obama and tell him your great ideas on how to run the country.

You should probably leave out the part about your inability to maintain your own finances.

There is no issue with bk in my mind. It's a legal right.
The thing is, will bk improve your life and allow you a fresh start? In your case, I don't see how. You won't be able to support yourself post bk on that income so, why file? What if you file and then get sick or injured and with likely no insurance you'll have huge medical debt to deal with and you already played the bk card?
Look at the big picture. Don't let a small debt sidetrack your thinking. Minimum payments are competely doable if you can get some help from a credit counselor.
Just keep working and putting in those apps and eventually something good will happen. You only need 1 person to say yes and a lot of your problems are solved.

Make enough

Presently I make enough at my present job to cover my basic life needs bills such as housing, food, utlities and transportation. It leaves nothing more to pay for and I am looking for a second job or a better paying job. The BK would eliminate any chance at a wage garnishment by any of the CC's. I would reafirm my car and keep going. I am a victim as is most in this country due to a financial system that was allowed to run unchecked and cause the economic conditions we are in now. When I had the better paying job, all bills were paid and paid on time, had the economy not gone in the tanks I would have had that job still and this would not be an issue.
