Oh no, give me earthquakes over tornados any day!
But, then maybe I'm just being selfish because enough of those and my Las Vegas property will become beachfront. :p

Fooey, I missed it.

As far as quakes go, any day now everyone west of the New Madrid fault will be sitting on a great big island. Don't let 'em fool you! We'll be fishing for sharks in Memphis instead of Pensacola. :p

So did I.... we were too busy being told we will be having a day without pay every month for the next year....
That bites.... So far, BossMan hasn't said anything about pay cuts.... He really can't cut back days, since there's only the three of us in the office; when one's out, the other two run.

Ya know? It doesn't really matter to me I guess. So, how do my coworkers deal with the news?

We've sent out a courtwide email scheduling Happy Hour for July 14. Why not get drunk as all get out on Tuesday, most of us will be off that WEDNESDAY! Drinks anyone?

You see how we deal with bad news???? LOL

It all started with me posting a PM SS sent to me for all to see. Members started making comments. Then, SS appeared and believed that if he sent me PMs of what he was going to post, I would post his PM - if his post on the site was removed.
I can't seem to find it if M hasn't removed it.... link please (if available). Hurry, I gotta go make dinner.

Well, we had the first "possible" turbulence thing going on out there in the ocean. Luckily it's dissipated, but still I'll take a hurricane over an earthquake.

And a Hurricane helps deal with hurricanes. :D:D

Now, for you California gals:

Kahlua Earthquake
1/2 oz. Kahlua
1/2 oz. Tequila, white
Fill with Cola

Serve in a Highball glass

Add Kahlua and Tequila to glass, add ice and top up with Cola.

or

Earthquake Drink Recipe
1 oz Gin
1 oz Whisky
1 oz Pernod

Earthquake Drink Recipe Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a ****tail shaker / stirrer and pour into an unusually shaped glass. Add Crushed Ice and decorations to create a great speciality drink from an easy to make recipe!

Blondie,

For you and me:

Hurricane, New Orleans Style

1 oz white rum
1 oz Jamaican dark rum
1 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice

Combine all ingredients, mix well (shake or stir). Pour over crushed ice in hurricane glass. Best enjoyed through a small straw. Garnish with fruit wedge if desired.

We sure could use the rain that that disturbance was supposed to bring.

Yesterday, the weather men said that the disturbance would be subtropical storm. That's a term used now for several years lately not making any sense, at least to me (difference between a subtropical & tropical storm). The inquiring mind wanted to know and looked it up.

Tink, make it Blondie style. No white rum, more Jamaican dark rum & cranberry juice instead of grenadine syrup. After one, who cares what kind of ice is in the glass. :D
