My responsibility to create the new order

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
Recently had a custody modification hearing. I was told that I am responsible for making up the order. I went to the court house to gather up the minutes and was very disappointed. Many of the things discussed in court are not on the minutes. The transcript cost $60 which I can not afford at this point.
My questions: Must I only put on the new order items stated on the minutes?
If I were to get the transcripts can I include agreed terms spoken about in court from it on the new order? Won't the new order be reviewed by the judge before it is filed?
Thanks ahead of time

i strongly suggest you get a copy of the transcript. you could write up the order based on your memory, but i don't suggest it.

i took notes during my hearing, so i didn't need the transcript. i did the order just fine. but from the looks of it, you really should get a copy of that transcript. and it's not the judge's responsibility to look over your work. you are supposed to do it correctly. that's the responsibility of being pro se.

So I am allowed to add things to the order from the transcript?
Excellent news!
I took notes as well but NCP acts as if he weren't in the same room. He certainly didn't hear what I heard.
I need to get this right, so I will do everything I can to acquire the transcript.
Thank you!
What I meant by the judge reviewing it was,
the clerk doesn't just stamp it and file it right?
If I have something wrong on the order it will get noticed?
I don't want to be accused of adding things that shouldn't be there by NCP.
Just covering by behind.

in my instance i sure did. i served the copy to the NCP. he had 15 days to contradict anything i sent him. he didn't. order was signed.

now you should get the transcript since your NCP is like that. because when and if he goes running to the court to object to the proposed order, you can tell the judge on such and such page on such and such line, it was stated....blah blah blah. i have an NCP just like that, he never actually hears what the judge says. even five minutes after the judge said it.
