I just have a quick question. Recently (in the past couple of months), my father became a U.S. citizen. Because I am his son, I became a citizen automatically through him. At the time, I was 17.

For personal reasons, he is now threatening to "do everything he can" to make sure that I am no longer a U.S. citizen. Realistically, can he actually do anything now that I already have American citizenship?

If he renounces his own citizenship, and you are under 18, I suppose your citizenship may be revoked.

He can renounce his citizenship at any US embassy. Note: There are none inside the US.
