What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? well..
I am not a citizen of the U.S., and not currently living in the U.S., either.
However, I seem to have a problem with the U.S. firm called Amazon.
I am taking an online course from a community college in Illinois.
The class started on June 15th, so prior to that, I bought a textbook from Amazon, because online bookstore at the institution I am taking the course doesn't offer international shipment. I misestimated how long it takes to ship a book from the U.S. to South Korea, so I acknowledged that I am not gong to have the textbook at the beginning of my course. Amazon's web page shows that the estimated date of arrival is July 17th. So I thought to myself that it would not be so late to catch up the course if it gets here on time. However, it hasn't gotten here yet, and the course is going to be ended at the beginning of August. They are only ten days late, no big deal, but I am going to have to withdraw that class if it doesn't get here before July is over, and that is going to leave a big W on my transcript. W on a transcript is not going to attract positive feedback in grad school admission and all that, so I am really upset about what's happening. Like I said, it was mistake on my behalf that I ordered the book too late, but I didn't ordered it late enough to withdraw the class according to Amazon's estimated arrival date. can I take any legal action about this? or is this just another customer's fault?

Amazon estimated the arrival date. They did not promise the arrival date.

You have no cause of action
