State: Texas
As the title indicates, I received a MIC. It was my birthday (20th) and my friends threw me a party. Long story short, the police come and decide I am the only one out of 100+ who should get a ticket. They asked if I had been drinking and I told them I had about a beer and a half. The officer then told me that if I wanted to play "games" he could simply arrest me and give everyone tickets. I don't really know why he said that, but I simply apologized and remained confused.
I wasn't breathalyzed or given any form of sobriety test, but I am aware that admitting to it counts. My main question is what the heck do I do? I haven't gotten a ticket before and am kinda lost on where to go from here and have no clue what the consequence typically are. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
