Ex-wife Married or Not?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada

My husband's ex-wife was referred to by her own attorney IN COURT, as her boyfriend's wife (he was on trial for breaking my step-son's nose).

We also noticed that both of them are now wearing wedding rings.

I performed a cursory marriage search in Nevada, to no avail, but they have travelled a bit lately,even to the Bahamas.

I am not confident in the utility of these paid online search engines (they fail to even show MY marriage record). I feel very strongly she is married (which would end the $7250 in alimony she gets). She denies it to the kids...

Any suggestions on how to prove this?

Your husband can hire a PI, or check other records in other cities - and while I don't suggest either of you waste too much time or money on this you might want to include alternate spellings of the relevant names...

Having said that it's entirely possible that the attorney simply misspoke - and it's not unusual for a non-married couple to wear rings on "that" finger.

could husband ask for a motion of discovery? or would it not be considered "under oath"(and she did not relinquish that information) if it's a search to find if the ex is now married? lord i probably didn't word that right. but if the boyfriends own lawyer is referring to her as "wife" wouldn't that mean that the lawyer knows of the marriage? could a judge not somehow get that information out of a lawyer?
