Hi I know that most employers tell you that when you write off a food or product it has to be thrown away and not kept or eaten under any circumstance. Well i work for this Restoration Company and when they write off the Home Owners (Furniture, cloths, electronics, jewelery, foods and misc.) Are they supposed to throw these objects away after the insurance company has give the Restoration Company the approval that the claim has been finalized or Are they allowed to keep these Home Owners Write Off's for the Restoration Company to (sell, keep or give) them away between each other(s) ? All i know is that when i write something off i know I'm not allowed to keep, eat, sell or give it away and it must be thrown away no questions asked. Is what this Restoration doing legal ? or Illegal please explain how it could be Illegal if it is.
