What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

Had our court date today. woohoo!!! Here is what happened:

  • Child support increase to 2244 including 350 in daycare costs.
Daycare ordered for both younger children costs to be split.
I got all tax deductions every year.
Oldest daughter is not be used as a babysitter.
Ex has to have adult supervision for the 3 girls during his summer visitation or vistation reverts back to 1st, 3rd, 5th weekends.

All in all my attorney was worth her weight in gold!!!What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I'm so glad that the judge/magistrate/ referee (whoever) understood the folly of leaving a teenage sibling in charge of younger siblings for so long.

Did it go up as much as expected?

Curiousity - what about the "paycut" the X took because he went to detective?

His attorney tried to use his base salary instead of his YTD. That didnt work. The judge looked at him and said well you are working OT because its consistent on all the check stubs you provided. His YTD is already at 88,567 and he was trying to claim he only made $83,000 a year.

It went up $300 then I also got the $350 for daycare. So basically he is paying for all of hte girls daycare :)

The judge told him he should be ashamed of himself for making his 14yr old babysit that long and that often.
