What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?CA
IS there a limit on how many times a cp can ask for a modification on monthly child support? Cp has asked for modification twice now, with no change. My income has not changed. Now she is threatening to do it again, knowing that it just ends up costing me time and $. Does the court not frown on someone wasting its time? Thank you.


In the documents she submitted, she has accused my girlfriend as being "a well known drug addict", (which she is not), however the name she puts in the declaration as my girlfriend is nobody I have ever heard of. Do I just plead my case in my response declaration saying I dont know this person, how much weight does it carry with the judge with this accusation?

Lol ok thats a lil over the top. If she does again I would suggest requesting that she be responsible for your attorney fees and court costs if no change can be proven. I will be amazed if the courts let it go far and the judge doesnt get highly pissed off if she keeps it up.

What if I no longer have an attorney representing me, is there something I can ask the court to do?

You can request both attorney's fees and also ask the court to order sanctions for frivolous filings.

Is this a petition for only a CS modification?
If it is, then anything regarding your GF being an alleged drug user isn't even remotely relevent to a CS modification.
