What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? any
I keep reading every once in a while something about "troll". Anyone care to help me understand? Did I miss something? Is it like "trolling", like when you are "trolling" a lake y'know, for fish? That's the best way I can describe what I think it means. Sorry if I am just ignorant.
A "troll" would be someone who posts deliberately inflammatory, over-dramatic, controversial and/or blatantly false information in order to get attention.
Unfortunately it happens a little too often. This is often why when the red flags go up you'll see regular posters asking very
specific questions which require a very detailed and exact response - because generally the troll just isn't up to researching their Walter Mitty-inspired tales of improbability...at least not to any great extent.
And what usually happens after that is the poster will return and give a variation of the following response:
"I saw an attorney today and my case is filed cos my attorney filed it TODAY and the judge agreed and you're all wrong and you all suck and I'm going to sue for millions and you idiots don't know anything at all...ha ha ha ...."
(The real tragedy is these people are usually too thick to realize that they can be spotted a mile away)
(or, painfully, that it's actually a holiday weekend and the courts aren't open....)
