What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, I don't know if this is the correct place for this but I have a question.

Does anyone know or can they direct me to a source that would know about rental rights and VOCs?

We live in the upper story of a duplex in Wisconsin. Our landlord just had the downstair's floors refinished. We have a 2 year old and he did not inform us that this was going to be taking place. The place reeks and I don't want our child to breath these fumes in, but I don't know if there is anything we can do. Internet searches for VOCs and rental rights have turned up nothing. Do we have any legal rights?

Thanks,
Erik
