posstion of alcohol in indiana

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? indiana
so i was at the park with my buddies waiting on on the kid to get home...we were going to drink at his house...so we were sitting there the cop passes many times throughout the time, he finally stops and askes if he can serch my friends car he did found bottle of vodka his mom comes and tries to get him out of trouble and say its hers doesnt work he gets poo of alcohol and tobbaco. i have can of dip on me and he asked if he can search my truck i say go ahead and he finds 2 cases of beer, i tell him there my dads, the trucks in his name.... will this story work when i go to court why? and why not? and how much will the tikket be and will my license get suspended?

Even if dad shows up and lies that the beer was his, you can still be charged with Possessions of Alcohol by a minor. You aren't being charged with ownership, you are being charged with Possession.

You could lose your license since a vehicle was involved in the offense.
