What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AL

My ex is trying to dictate who is responsible for getting my daughter to AL for visitation and who is responsible for getting her back to VA. He is doing this because he wants to put her on a plane with layovers. The only thing ever stated in any of the court orders is that if the parties cannot agree for summer visitation, that the NCP shall pick up the child for visitation and the CP shall pick up the child from visitation. Since it is not summer, would this still apply? Court orders should be made manipulation proof if there is such a thing

How old is the child? What exactly do the court orders state.

she is 8. it just has the rules about summer. There was a modification after the original order for schedule B, so the ex is arguing that the new order supersedes schedule B. I tried to tell him that it is only changed where the judge specifically makes a change. He is using the new order as a way to manipulate schedule B..

Do you have another post on here asking about the modification???? Or is that your ex?

Could mississippian be your ex? Or are you him back in another form as he likes to do that. Either way I would say the original order stands and the modifications are in addition to that but I would need the exact wording on the order to know for sure. Could you post the wording on the modification?

I assumed that may be the case. You may want to delete your thread as well. Good luck.
I'm thinking that this IS Mississippian, hoping for yet another, different answer to her questions.

Unless one of these is really male posing as female and I don't care enough to sort out gender confusion on here.

Considering we've already answered the Mississippian's questions..... Until the last thread. I'm on strike on this one, since Mississippian has decided he doesn't like us or our attitudes.

It's either him or his wife posting.

My best answer to these people is to pay an Alabama lawyer for advice.

I think you're right on both counts, CJane. We determined yesterday that Mississippian is a male (?) that has been posting as (at least) two different females. 'Mommaofthree' signed up and created this thread minutes after MSian was outed, and minutes before MSian posted to Technical Issues asking how to cancel his/her account.

And despite MSian's protests about this site, I see s/he's signed in right now:
