You'll both lose! I'm the most Senior Member of the three of us and the most experienced with Third Party custody/visitation. I want Dog.
then you are covering ALL transportation costs for third party visitation. and Dog is on OUR side of the ocean!!

and no! you cannot bribe Dog. she doesn't get a say in this! :D

I want EOW visits for him to pick her up from school on Friday and drop-off on Monday to avoid any contact with me, he should have to prove to the courts he is fit, meaning providing a verifiable lease, that my daughter has sleeping quarters, he is getting her to/from school on time. I will retain sole physical custody of course, I want joint legal to have a stipulation that he CANNOT authorize any medical care unless I am incapacitated. He has taken my daughter to the doctor twice to have her privates checked w/o consulting with me as the joint legal calls for. I provide medical coverage for my daughter, I have been sent medical bills for items not covered under the insurance because of his actions.
Not how it works. He is assumed to be fit - the burden is on you to prove otherwise, not the other way around.

And though it may seem unfair to you the courts will usually assume that as you decided he was fit enough to be the father of your child why shouldn't they?

You should also double check your order - quite often joint legal custody simply means that each parent has the right to make decisions and/or take the child - for example - to medical appointments without needing permission of the other parent. Double check the actual wording on your order.

Dog is over 18 years of age, so she DOES get to choose.:p
Doggie is a wonder triplet. If one goes, we all go:D

... and just for the record, the triplets are of the ripe old age of 25. That way when we see all the hotties in Rushia's side of the country, we cannot be accused of being cougars.:D

Cougar?! ME?! Hardly....

...I'm more like the snaggle-toothed Chinese Crested dogs. You know the ones - they're generally um..."aesthetically challenged", if you will... :D

I've seen you in action Doggie. There is no way in haedes that you are a fufu, wrinkley, hairless, yappy, purse-sized, mousey looking thing. You are a pit bull on steriods.

enough! Coco stays at home, she hasn't done anything to get put out. :)
lol. okay look, honestly, i'd start putting CoCo in some training classes. just in case dad gets real dumb about things. to protect you, and your child. it's the safer thing to do.

and for the record. Dog is right. you have to prove unfitness. innocent until proven guilty. all that jazz.

Thank you - I was actually about to apologize for the somewhat bizarre hijack of the thread but you've responded with grace, dignity and humour. We are certainly not making light of your situation, k?

(Let's face it - when you're dealing with exes you need a sense of humour...without it I suspect there would be a drastic increase in the number of John Wayne Bobbits the world over...)
