Hello.I'm from Boulder,Colorado.I have several questions. I’m illegal in the US. I’m engaged to a green-card holder. He is going to apply for citizenship. Should we get married before or after he becomes a citizen? Will the marriage somehow influence on getting him the citizenship and my green-card in the future? There is one more question. He is not sure if he can apply for a citizenship concerning the reason that he is on probation (2nd DUI). Can he apply before the hearing or it’s better after when the suit is over. Thank you for your answer. God bless.

Katerine did you enter the country legally and overstay or did you come in uninspected?
