[Florida] Sarasota county if it helps.
I have a three year old who's father voluntarily terminated his rights to enlist in the military. (someone told him he couldnt be a single parent to enlist). My lawyer drafted the paperwork and he signed. Here's what he has:
---
No rights to the child.
No right to visitation (only if I ok it)
Still obligated to pay CS.
Still obligated to cary health insurance for child.
Mother is no longer bound to the state of Florida.
---
-He makes sparatic payments
-Upwards of $8-9000 in back CS
-Do I have to prove what he has and has NOT paid ?
-Owes near $7,000 in medical bills/doc visits/perscriptions
To this day never carried insurance for her on his own. (if he does not have insuance for her, he is responsible for 100% of any bills acrued from doctors/perscriptions/hospital visits/etc)
After this past week of him promising her he would call and spend tons of time with her, he bailed, and i havent heard from him. So I am fed up with his shenaniganz, and I'm ready to take him for contempt of court. I however need advice from any women or men who have been through this or any similar situation on how to handle this and what i should do first. I don't know where to start!
Thank you sooo much for any help.
