What is the name of your state (NY)?

A magistrate has ordered me to pay $800 a month for a 13 year old kid when I am currently unemployed. His mother only works 3 days and makes alot more than I do. I am the head of my household with a wife, a 6 months old enfant and a 15 years old daughter. A request to modify the order was denied and I feel this magistrate is taking away the security of my family on a wild ride.

I am considering leaving this country simply because the law is bias and doesn't give men a fair share of their rights.

What happens if I leave the country? Will I be able to come back or negotiate what is reasonable within my means? What are my long and short term options ?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Your options are to start paying your child support.

Nobody is going to help you circumvent either the law or your obligations.

You are required to follow the court order.
I'm sorry that you feel that the 13 year old's needs are lessened by the fact that you chose to have another child.

What If the Parties Disagree with the Support Magistrate's Order?

Both parties have the right to appeal the order by filing an "objection" within 30 days
of the date the order is sent to them. The objection must be filed with the court clerk's office,
with a copy sent to the other party. The other party may send a reply to the court. After review
ing
the case file, a judge then rules on the objection. The judge may leave the order as it is,
change it, or send the case back to the Support Magistrate for further proceedings.
If either party disagrees with the judge's decision, the case may be appealed to a higher court

file an objection or challenge, based on incorrect calculations or mistake of fact.
