What would Jesus say?
I missed the part of the Gospel that says, "Take from a marriage that which you think you are entitled for the act of marriage."
I also don't remember, "If a man takes a woman in marriage and makes her move from her hearth and home, he should be prepared to pay her gold for the time until she returns."
You aren't a gold digger. Fine. Then sign.
Jesus would have been appalled at the thought of divorce at all... He did say, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”
further, He would been shocked at planning not only the divorce but a set dollar amount per year of marriage.
You should be very careful what you ask for.
