You chose him to father your child...the fact that he left you does not mean that he cannot exercise his rights, nor does it allow you to punish him by not seeing his child if he does not pay support.

It's best you hear it here first - once he files, he WILL get visitation, he WILL likely get joint legal custody and he WILL probably be in your life for at least the next 18 years.

I'm sorry you did not like the legal truth. However that doesn't make it any less true. You need to learn to deal with that.
