A House Cleaning Services Agreement is an agreement between a contractor and a home owner where the contractor agrees to provide cleaning services to a home owner. This type of service agreement is helpful because it provides the terms and conditions of the arrangement. Is the agreement for a fixed term or ongoing? How much will the contractor get paid? How will the arrangement end? What will the contractor be responsible for? When will the cleaning take place? These are all questions that will be answered in the agreement. In addition, the agreement will reaffirm that an employer/employee relationship is not created.
The following House Cleaning Services Agreement can be used for a one-time project or for on-going services.
House Cleaning Services Agreement
This House Cleaning Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) is dated as of _______________, 2009 by and between __________________________
(“Contractor”) and __________________(“Owner”) (collectively the “Parties”).
The Parties agree as follows:
1 SERVICES : Contractor will perform the cleaning services for 4700 East Bails Place, Denver, CO 80222 approximately 2062 sq. feet. (the “Location”) described below (the “Services”): (check all that apply)
__ Vacuum carpeting, floor mats, linoleum, hardwood and tile floors.
__ Vacuum curtains.
__ Mop tile, linoleum, hardwood floors.
__ Dust shelves, tabletops, desktops, windowsills, tv cabinets, dressers, window blinds and other flat surfaces.
__ Clean light fixtures.
__ Window cleaning (inside and outside).
__ Clean window panes (inside and outside).
__ Bathroom cleaning including cleaning and scrubbing sinks, toilets, floors, and mirrors.
__ Kitchen cleaning: clean microwave inside and out, clean inside and out and refrigerator inside and out.
__ Perform any other reasonable service needed to maintain the Location in a clean and a sanitary condition.
The Services shall be commenced on or before ______________, 2009, and shall be completed by _______________, 2009. The Services shall be performed between the hours of ______ (a.m./p.m.) and ____ (a.m./p.m.). Time is of the essence.
2 EQUIPMENT : (mark all applicable provisions
__ Owner shall provide the following equipment for Contractor’s use when performing the Services: ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
__ When performing the Services, Contractor will not use his/her own equipment and cleaning supplies.

(b) To the extend required by law, all work shall be performed by individuals authorized by law to perform the work. ____
(c) Contractor warrants that it is adequately insured for injury to its employees and others incurring loss or injury as a result of the acts of Contractor. ____
