okay i have been living with a family for three years. and it's been good for me. my mother has been threatning to remove me from the home. she said she willl call the police and that they will force me to leave the house. even though i am 18 she says she has legal rights over me until i am 21. is this true? and what steps can i take to make sure she does not do this?

how on earth did you manage to have MY mom as YOUR mom?

no, the split second you are 18, mom has no legal control over you.

my own mother tried this tactic. neither my sister and i talk to her anymore.
